Grab bag: Industry, Bad Sisters, Selling the OC, and more
A dozen things we've been watching recently, including new shows, latest seasons, etc.
Hello! This week’s episode of Criticism Is Dead is a grab bag episode! This is our first ~expanded~ version of our occasional watchlist dumps. We’ve been watching a lot of stuff, not all of which can make it into our main episodes, so why not put it all here?

03:19 Industry s2 on HBO Max
A more confident and exciting season than the first one (which we previously discussed here).
10:48 Selling the OC on Netflix
If you thought Davina’s $75 million listing was bad, you need to see the $106 million monstrosity on this spinoff.
16:30 The Resort finale on Peacock
This show (which we previously discussed here) did actually wrap up its narrative in this season, but hopefully we’ll get more Baltasar and Luna playing detective in future seasons…?
18:45 Black Bird on Apple TV+
Yes, it’s based on a true crime… but Mindhunter fans will like this!
22:02 What We Do in the Shadows s4 on Hulu
A steady favorite (which we previously discussed here), but it might be time for it to wrap up in a season or two. Some things never change, but others should.
24:12 Only Murders in the Building s2 on Hulu
Still charming, like its first season (which we previously discussed here), but a somewhat lackluster conclusion. Excited for next season!
26:48 Bad Sisters on Apple TV+
Pelin liked this a lot and I immediately want to watch it!!!
31:08 Never Have I Ever s3 on Netflix
If you’re going to watch a teen show, this show (which we previously discussed here) is one whose heart actually rings pretty true.
33:46 This Is Going to Hurt on AMC+
Care and our systems of caring, stripped bare!
36:47 This Fool on Hulu
For fans of odd-couple, off-kilter, community-centric comedy.
38:48 Mo on Netflix
You know what? Happy it exists, even with some qualms.
43:15 Junior Bake Off on Netflix
Children/young teens baking up a storm! Honestly amazing. (And, by the way, we have an even briefer review of Glow Up s3 on Netflix, nestled within this section.)
That’s all for now! And here is a big importance notice: We’re going to be taking a little break while Pelin is off, so take that time to catch up on your shows and films! Tune back in for our next episode on October 11 — we’re going to be discussing Rings of Power and House of the Dragon :)
